What Is Multifamily Post-Construction Cleaning?

Multifamily post-construction cleaning is the final construction clean of new apartment and multifamily buildings, performed for the builder, developer, general contractor, or property manager delivering the project. It is commercial construction work, not residential housekeeping — the client is the project team, and the deliverable is a building ready for leasing and occupancy.

The work divides into two parts: a high-volume, highly repetitive unit clean, and a high-finish common-area clean covering lobbies, leasing offices, amenity spaces, corridors, and parking areas.

Who Typically Needs It

Builders and developers completing multifamily construction, general contractors closing out apartment projects, and property managers preparing a newly delivered building for lease-up. We do not provide routine cleaning for individual residents.

Sequencing and Unit Turnover

Units are normally cleaned floor by floor as they complete, sequenced after appliance and fixture installation so the clean is not repeated. Where lease-up has already begun, we phase the work so leased units are ready ahead of individual move-in dates.

Common areas usually finish last but carry the highest visibility, since the leasing office and lobby are what prospective residents see first.

Spaces and Quality-Control Priorities

Unit-level consistency is the central quality-control challenge: kitchens, bathrooms, glass, and floor finishes must land identically across every unit, and a leasing walkthrough will find the exception.

Common areas emphasize lobby and leasing-office finishes, amenity spaces, corridors, and stair and elevator cores. We work from a unit-level checklist and walk completed floors with your team before release.

What Is Not Included

We do not provide routine housekeeping for residents, haul construction debris, perform trade repairs, or carry out remediation. Our role is the construction-completion clean delivered to the project team.
