A distribution center is a warehouse with a machine installed in it. Conveyor lines, sortation equipment, mezzanines, and pick modules occupy the space that would otherwise be open slab, and they change the cleaning problem substantially: there is far more structure at height collecting dust, and far less uninterrupted floor to run equipment across.
Installation of material-handling systems is also one of the dustiest phases of the project, and it often happens late. That places the final clean tightly between equipment installation and commissioning, with little schedule float on either side.

Coordination is the defining constraint. Material-handling installers, electricians, and controls technicians are frequently still working when cleaning begins, so the clean is normally phased by zone and re-sequenced as areas are released.
We work from a zone map agreed with the superintendent rather than a single site-wide pass. Mezzanine and pick-module levels are cleaned before the slab beneath them, because dust from elevated structure will otherwise land on finished floor.
Priorities are elevated structure and mezzanine decking, slab beneath and around conveyor runs, dock and staging areas, and the finished office, break, and driver-facing spaces that people actually see.
We clean around installed equipment rather than through it. Where machinery requires cleaning as part of a manufacturer's commissioning process, that work stays with the vendor responsible for it — we coordinate our scope around theirs.
We do not clean the internal components of installed material-handling equipment, haul construction debris, or perform any remediation or trade work. Our scope covers building surfaces and finished areas.
